World Hemophilia Day: Breaking the Silence — Ensuring Every Woman and Girl in Pakistan Gets the Care She Deserves

“World Hemophilia Day” This year’s theme, “Access for All: Women and Girls Bleed Too,” brings long-overdue attention to the silent suffering of countless women and girls living with undiagnosed or misdiagnosed bleeding disorders. In Pakistan, the Hemophilia Foundation estimates that around 25,000 individuals are affected by bleeding disorders, yet less than 10% are officially registered and receiving care. This disparity is even more stark among women, who often face misbeliefs that bleeding disorders only affect males; resulting in delayed diagnosis, inadequate treatment, and diminished quality of life. Awareness, inclusive care, and systemic change are essential to bridge this gap. At Global Marketing Services, Pakistan, we stand with the bleeding disorders community to change the story for women and girls in Pakistan. With a heartfelt focus on women’s health, we bring world-class diagnostic solutions closer to those who’ve long been overlooked, especially in remote and underserved areas. Through strong global partnerships and local commitment, we’re helping ensure that no woman bleeds in silence, and every girl gets the care she deserves.
