The BioFire® FilmArray® Pneumonia Panel plus

The BIOFIRE PN and PN plus Panels target a comprehensive menu of bacteria and viruses associated with pneumonia and other lower respiratory tract infections, as well as seven antimicrobial resistance markers.

The BioFire® FilmArray® Gastrointestinal (GI) Panel

The BIOFIRE GI Panel is a fast, sensitive, and comprehensive alternative stool testing method. Its panel menu includes bacteria, viruses, and parasites commonly associated with infectious gastroenteritis.

The BIOFIRE ME Panel provides answers on 14 of the most common bacterial, viral, and yeast pathogens that cause central nervous system infections to help healthcare providers rapidly distinguish between bacterial and viral meningitis and optimize life-saving therapy.

The FilmArray® Torch

BIOFIRE® FILMARRAY® TORCH is a multiplex PCR system that enables simultaneous testing for bacteria, viruses, yeast, parasites, and/or antimicrobial resistant genes. It is designed to be used with comprehensive panels that each offer testing for sets of pathogens associated with some of today’s most pressing healthcare challenges.

The BIOFIRE RP2.1plus Panels employ a syndromic approach to precisely detect and identify the pathogens commonly linked with respiratory infections that may enable better-informed diagnosis and treatment of patients.

BioFire® Blood Culture Identification 2 (BCID2) Panel

The BIOFIRE BCID2 Panel tests associated with bloodstream infections, including Gram-negative bacteria, Gram-positive bacteria, yeast, and 10 antimicrobial resistance genes – all with one test and with results available in about an hour from positive blood culture.

BIOFIRE® Joint Infection (JI) Panel

Using PCR technology, the BIOFIRE JI Panel is a rapid syndromic test that delivers comprehensive results in one easy-to-read report.

The FilmArray® 2.0

The BioFire FilmArray 2.0 has set the standard for molecular diagnostic testing. With single database management of up to 8 instruments per computer, the BioFire FilmArray 2.0 can test up to 175 samples a day. Its LIS-interfacing capabilities enable simplified test ordering and send outs, quicker turnaround times, and increased accuracy by minimizing manual data entry.
